CASTING YOUR BALLOT: You may download the ballot by clicking HERE. You can email your selections by completing the ballot and then scan it. Attach it to your email to Gwenn Tomiyoshi (jackel@hawaiiantel.net) who is collecting the email ballots. Per the ByLaws, you must send your ballot using your registered personal email account. This is the email account that you have designated to Hawaiian Swimming as a delegate. Gwenn will acknowledge receipt of your ballot. Please be aware that although Gwenn will print out your ballot without your name, she will maintain your email with the attached ballot for possible verification until after the election meeting. You may come to the HOD meeting and ballots will be available for those delegates who have voted prior to the meeting. Write in candidates can be done on the email ballot or placed on the ballot at the elections meeting. The delegates may also nominate candidates for the Elections Committee in their email or at the elections meeting.
From the Bylaws:
606.2.1.2 Ballots may cast in two ways:
606.2.1.2.1 Ballots may be brought to the annual meeting and cast during the elections at that meeting.
606.2.1.2.2 Ballots may be returned to the Secretary by email from the registered delegate’s personal email account (or other approved secure means) or by U.S. mail so as to be received by the Secretary two days prior to the annual meeting. They will be counted at the annual meeting along with those ballots that are cast in-person at the meeting.
606.2.1.2.3 Delegates returning ballots by mail or other approved means may write-in qualified candidates for any of the available positions.
606.2.1.3 The candidate who receives the most votes of the ballots cast and counted for the respective office at the annual meeting shall be elected.
